The Diplomas are intended for Registered Nurses who require an additional qualification in their chosen field in order to be able to function with advanced intellectual and practical competencies in the said department as a leader, consultant, educator and specialist practitioner.
Applicants will attend the theoretical training at Netcare Education’s Campus for speciality as well as days for nursing dynamics.
A Registered/Enrolled Nurse can develop their career by specializing in one or more post-basic fields of healthcare. Through the in- service certificate programmes, Nurses can acquire minimum skills for safe practice in a specialty unit. The Post Basic Diploma Programmes are aimed at development of advanced intellectual and clinical competencies in the selected field of interest in providing evidence-based care to patients, together with other team members within their scope of practice.
